JAVA PROGRAMMER
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

The Role:
We  are currently seeking skilled Java programmers for our Pittsburgh office.  You will participate in the development of our high-performance Execution Management System, AthenaTrader.  AthenaTrader is used by some of the world's largest financial companies for the global trading of equities, futures and foreign exchange.  Growth as of late has resulted in the opening of a London office, and several new clients in Chicago and Boston, making exciting, client-facing travel opportunities available to the right candidates.  Our current employment options are an excellent opportunity for any skilled developer with an interest in financial technology and complex, real-time, multi-threaded environments.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Java; Swing is a plus
• Multithreading
• Systems knowledge
• Good SQL/database
• Solid oral and written skills
• S or MS in Comp Science

CORE JAVA PROGRAMMER
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY

The Role:
We  are currently seeking skilled Core Java Developers for our Pittsburgh or New York office.  You will participate in the development of our high-performance Execution Management System, AthenaTrader.  AthenaTrader is used by some of the world's largest financial companies for the global trading of equities, futures and foreign exchange.  You will be developing real-time market data collections software using FIX, FAST, and proprietary API interfaces.   You will understand how to design programs for high performance and high availability.

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years Java programming
• Multithreading
• oncurrency
• Sockets (UDP and TCP)

Desired Skills:

• Unix/Linux
• C, C++
